Laurent Fraiche graduated from the National Conservatory of Music and Dance of Paris.
In 2006, he won the Third Prize at the First International Timbales Competition in Lyon.
After having started percussion at the CRR Nancy in the class of Jacques Prez, he continued his studies at the CRR Versailles with Sylvio Gualda and at the Conservatoire Municipal du 12th arrondissement of Paris with Michel Gastaud.
At the end of his DFS at the CNSM in Paris in the class of Michel Cerruti, he perfected himself on the timpani with Raymond Curfs timpani soloist of the Munich Opera Orchestra.
Since 2001, he has participated in concerts and productions of the Opéra national de Paris, the Radio-France Philharmonic Orchestra, the Ensemble Intercontemporain, the Orchester National de France, the Ensemble Orchestral de Paris and the Orchester de Paris.
He is currently Timpani solo at the Lille orchestra, professor at Pole Supérieur 93 and member of the Quatuor Beat since 2003.
